"Toro Mata"
("The Bull Kill" in Spanish) is one of the most famous
folk songs in Perú which has
been recorded and developed by many different musical
artists throughout its history. Toro Mata is a type of
Peruvian music initially developed by black slaves in
Cañete and Chincha, Perú. The
fusion of both the traditional Peruvian Lando and Cuban
Salsa melody is referred to as
SALSA LANDO.
Enjoy our “Toro Mata!” We are always teaching in order
to spread our love of the music and dance. Come join us!
Our mission is simple. We want to engage as many
fun people as possible to the exhilarating Peruvian
rhythms and promote community. Celebrating 15 years of
sharing Latino culture.
